Gas central heating (controls in owners' property) with open fire in sitting room. 2-ring electric hob, combination microwave oven, fridge/freezer, TV with basic Sky, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel, power and starter pack for open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Small garden and patio area with furniture. Ample on road parking 100 to 200 yards away. Sorry, no pets and nosmoking. Shops and pubs 3 mins walk. Note: Cottage is accessed via an external stone-built staircase to the first floor accommodation which is level with the rear garden. Note: No infants or children. |

Richmond is a popular town with tourists in Yorkshire, England. Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales it is the main tourist centre for the park. It is located not far from Hudswell, Brompton-On-Swale, East Layton, Darlington, Scorton, and Leyburn and is one of over 220 towns and villages in Yorkshire in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The closest cities are Ripon (population 16,468), Newcastle (population 189,863), and Leeds (which has a population of 443,247 according to the 2001 Census).
The town of Richmond itself has plenty to offer the visitor, it being described by some as an 'absolute gem', but it also forms a great location to stay for those wishing to visit the Dales.
